Road Accident Compensation

If you have been injured in a car accident, motorcycle accident or any other type of road traffic accident that was not your fault, BRM Solicitors can help you claim compensation for injuries and expenses resulting from the accident.

Compensation for a road accident injury can be claimed by and paid to drivers, passengers, cyclists and pedestrians involved in an accident.

If you are involved in a road traffic accident, it will help your solicitors in any claim for compensation if you can:

  • Get the name and address and contact details of any other person involved in the accident, along with their insurance company, policy details and vehicle details.
  • Get the details of any witnesses to the accident, such as other passing pedestrians, motorists or their passengers.
  • Take photographs of the scene of the accident, including the road, any car, motorcycle, bicycle or other vehicle involved in the accident and any injury suffered (a mobile phone is excellent for this purpose)
  • If possible, include something in the photograph of the accident scene which will help to scale and date the accident (a newspaper for example.)
  • If you are in a road traffic accident and you have been injured, the police will want to inspect the scene of the accident so do not leave unless you need medical treatment.
  • Do not admit that the accident was your fault.

If you have suffered an injury or injuries in a road accident that wasn't you fault, contact us to help you claim compensation.

Please telephone Peter McGowan on 01246 564045 or Craig Croft-Rayner on 01246 560590.

Alternatively, email details of the accident and your injuries to our road accident injury solicitors by completing our confidential online enquiry form and our solicitors will contact you to discuss your claim.
