The May 2022 HR Forum will provide a round up of current employment law news and include a focus on health and wellbeing.

10:00am - Welcome - Lucy Robinson, Director of Resources, East Midlands Chamber (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire)

10:05am - Employment Law update, including the latest updates in employment law from the first part of 2022. There will also be a review of what to expect later in 2022 and early 2023 - Amy Hallam, Director & Head of Employment Law, Employment, BRM Solicitors.

Amy will also discuss the importance of health and wellbeing in the work place and how this can improve employee retention and recruitment, as well as creating a happy and healthy work force.

10:35am - The importance of wellbeing in the workplace, an introduction to Cavendish Wellbeing services and how these support your team and the local community together with the chance to take part in a quick mindful exercise that helps with sleep and overwhelm -  Chloe Angus*, Corporate Wellbeing Manager, Cavendish Wellbeing (part of Cavendish Cancer Care

*Chloe joined Cavendish Cancer Care in Autumn 2021 to drive Cavendish Wellbeing Services. Having previously held a senior management role at a global engineering company where she organised multiple training events, Chloe is now a qualified coach and trainer. Chloe is passionate about collaboration, confidence and positive habits to support wellbeing and performance.

This HR Forum is jointly hosted by East Midlands Chamber and BRM Solicitors, providing businesses and HR professionals a regular platform to share experiences, knowledge, and ideas, creating a hub supporting best practice.
