Despite the Covid-19 pandemic and abolition of fees in 2018, the Employment Tribunals are busier than ever with claims made against employers.
It is becoming increasingly likely that employers will at some point find themselves facing an Employment Tribunal claim.
Covid-19 related issues have led to a rise in whistle-blowing claims made against employers which are progressing Employment Tribunals.
During this in-person Mock Tribunal we will hear the case of office banter gone wrong, leading to claims of unfair dismissal and allegations of sex discrimination in the workplace. Both the employee and the employer will present their case in front of the Judge, which will involve production of supporting evidence and relevant witnesses being cross examined. The case will also touch upon the role that third party pressure arising from external customer or contractor complaints can have in cases such as this.
You will have the opportunity to get involved by raising questions or suggestions throughout the proceedings as it moves through the standard Employment Tribunal process.
Before the Judge makes their ruling, you will be able to vote on which way you think the decision should go.
There will be plenty of opportunity at both events for networking with delegates and the hosts.
