Glenn qualified as a solicitor in 1990, having gained a degree in law at the University of Warwick. For over 25 years he has specialised in employment law. He advises employers and employees on all aspects of employment law and provides HR support. This includes advising on matters such as unfair dismissal, discrimination, post-termination restrictions, whistleblowing and TUPE.
He drafts contracts of employment and employee/staff handbooks and also provides representation in the Employment Tribunals and Courts.
His client portfolio covers all types of businesses including large employers, SMEs and not for profit organisations as well as also having experience advising and assisting in the care, manufacturing and services sectors.
He has acted in numerous complex and high profile cases and represented a claimant in one of the first cases brought for disability discrimination, which gained national television and press coverage, Glenn has recently acted in a successful shareholder/ director dispute which was resolved favourably for our client resulting in a substantial payment. He also recently successfully defended a claim for race discrimination against an employer over an 8 day Employment Tribunal hearing.
