Glenn Jaques joined BRM’s Employment Team as a Director in June 2015, having previously been a Partner in Sheffield law firm, Wake Smith Solicitors.
Over the last 25 years, Glenn has advised employers and employees on all aspects of employment law and HR including matters such as unfair dismissal, redundancy, discrimination, TUPE, and Settlement Agreements.
His client portfolio covers all types of businesses including large employers, SMEs and not for profit organisations.
He has acted in numerous complex and high profile cases and represented a claimant in one of the first cases brought for disability discrimination, which gained national television and press coverage.
Although his primary focus is employment law, Glenn's expertise also extends to commercial litigation including contract disputes, commercial disputes and professional negligence cases.
He has dealt with numerous cases in the County Court, High Court and Court of Appeal acting in many notable cases, including the reported Court of Appeal case of Granville Oil & Chemicals Limited v. Davies Turner.
With a reputation for being a knowledgeable and tenacious lawyer, Glenn has a friendly and approachable manner. He works hard at achieving successful results for clients.
