About Jason

Jason is a Solicitor and Executive Director and is one of the owners of the practice. Jason is also BRM’s COLP (Compliance Officer for Legal Practice).

Jason was born in Chesterfield and has been with the Practice for over 30 years.

He initially qualified as a Legal Executive in the 1990’s and then attended Nottingham Law School to carry out his legal practice course and qualified as a Solicitor in 2001.

He specialises in business and property litigation covering such areas as commercial contracts, intellectual property, insurance disputes, debt recovery, construction and insolvency. He advises on all aspects of commercial and residential property disputes including dilapidations, forfeiture, repossession, boundary and title disputes and property rights. He also has a specialism in contentious probate matters such as advising on a broad range of contentious probate issues such as challenge to the validity of a will, disputes between beneficiaries and executors and Inheritance Act claims both for and against estates.

Jason regularly acts in the High Court and County Court and gives advice on all aspects of alternate dispute resolution (including mediation, adjudication and arbitration).

He acts for a diverse range of clients including private individuals, sole traders, partnerships, insolvency practitioners, property managing agents and public and private companies.

Outside of work Jason is an avid follower of Everton FC and a keen golfer and enjoys spending time with his family.
