About Kate
Kate Fowler is an Associate in our Dispute Resolution Department.
Kate joined BRM in June 2021 having previously worked for Sheffield law firm Lupton Fawcett.
She specialises in property litigation, assisting Department Head, Rob Cooke.
Areas of expertise include:
- Commercial landlord and tenant matters including contested lease renewals, break notices, dilapidations and forfeiture proceedings;
- Residential landlord and tenant matters including possession claims, arrears and rent reviews;
- Residential leasehold matters including purchase of freehold, collective enfranchisement, lease extensions and service charge disputes;
- Boundary / right of way disputes;
- Professional negligence claims.
Outside of work Kate enjoys reading, films and travel - visiting new destinations as often as possible. Kate also enjoys the outdoors, spending most weekends exploring the Peak District or playing tennis at her local club.
