Mark Binney is a director at BRM, and Head of our Personal Injury Team.
Initially an Economics graduate, Mark developed an interest in law, and has practised as a solicitor for over 22 years.
A litigation specialist, Mark initially acted for companies in contested litigation. He later developed a defendant specialism, dealing exclusively with defended road traffic accident claims for a national public transport company.
In 2011 after leaving his position as director at another Chesterfield law firm, Mark became Head of Personal Injury at Anderson Partnership. In the role he returned to claimant work, helping clients win compensation in a range of claim types including employer’s liability, public liability and road traffic accidents. He has also assisted clients who with catastrophic injuries in several high-value claims. Mark joined BRM in April 2015.
Mark represents both claimants and defendants in personal injury cases, and civil litigation claims.
Outside of work Mark enjoys spending time with his family, going to the gym, real ale and cars (the latter three obviously not combined!)
