About Bluebell Wood

Since 2008 Sheffield-based Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice have provided care for children and young adults with life-shortening and life-threatening conditions.

Currently, Bluebell Wood support over 300 families, both at their North Anston hospice and in family homes.

Services at the Hospice are wide ranging and bespoke to each family;

These include:

  • End of life treatment and care
  • Respite care
  • Music therapy
  • Counselling
  • Sibling support groups
  • Home visits

It costs £5.1M (almost £14,000 each day) to keep the doors open at Bluebell Wood for families across South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire, North Nottinghamshire and parts of North Lincolnshire.

Every donation received helps Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice continue to help families across the region.

You can help Bluebell Wood by making a will with us during February. In return for the service, we invite a voluntary donation which will help fund services at the Hospice.
