BRM Advises In Purchase Of Historic Nottinghamshire Building
BRM’s Commercial Property Team has advised in the purchase of Kelham Hall in Newark for an undisclosed amount, acting for the buyers Kelham Hall Limited.
The historic Gothic-Revival-style hall was built in 1863 for the Manners-Sutton family, but for the last 40 years has been used as offices by Newark and Sherwood District Council.
Kelham Hall Limited will give the hall an entirely new life, with plans to transform it into a hotel, spa, conference centre, and setting for outdoor events..
Jonathan Pass, Director of Kelham Hall Limited believes that it is the start of an exciting time for the Hall.

“This agreement to sell Kelham Hall will take the building into an exciting new era and provide the district of Newark and Sherwood with excellent new hotel and conference accommodation. It will open up the building and grounds to new opportunities, preserving its long and distinguished history. “
