About Christopher
Chris Hey is a Senior Associate Solicitor in the Real Estate Team at our Sheffield office.
He is experienced in a broad range of commercial real estate matters including sales, purchases, development work, asset management for large institutional landlords and public bodies, and other landlord and tenant work for both landlords and occupiers.
Chris joined BRM in October 2018 having previously worked at national law firm, CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang LLP.
Recent professional experience:
Advising on the lease negotiations of a landmark letting within the Heart of the City 2 estate in Sheffield city centre.
Assisting a developer client on the acquisition, pre-let, planning application support, development funding, construction, and sale of the new hotel and restaurant/bar site in the heart of Wimbledon, London.
Advising on the acquisition, pre-let, and development funding for an £83m apartment development in East London.
Expertise in advising a number of restaurant and bar operators on the negotiation of leases for their business premises at prominent locations across Sheffield and the north.
Acting for a number of Local Authorities on the asset management of their shopping centre portfolios across the UK.
